Listen, my brother, and I will tell you a truth which I learned from my God. When you lovingly converse with seculars you are considered worldly by God. And when you are together in friendship with monks, the friends of God, you are a true monk. When you are cut off from all, and you meditate on God continually, you are divine and become like God.
